Peter Singer: Says He'd Kill Babies

I've talked about this Princton Professor on the show and written about his animal-rights & kill-the-babies philosophy many times. WorldNetDaily has the latest on Peter Singer's brand of bio-'ethics', which shows he's still speaking the same eugenics talk. Scary. Here it is in part...

"An internationally known Princeton "bioethicist" and animal-rights activist says he'd kill disabled babies if it were in the "best interests" of the family, because he sees no distinction in the child's life whether it is born or not, and the world already allows abortion.

Singer's response came to Dublin reader Karen Meade's question: "Would you kill a disabled baby?"

"Yes, if that was in the best interests of the baby and of the family as a whole. Many people find this shocking, yet they support a woman's right to have an abortion."

Singer holds that man is no different from other forms a life, and therefore man's life is not worth more than, for example, a cow."

Security Alert: Hackers Attacking Conservative Websites

Jim Kouri, VP National Chiefs of Police just sent this security alert...please forward information to all your conservatives friends who websites or blogs. You can use the email link at the end of this post.

A group of hackers are attacking conservative websites. New Media Journal was taken over by them and they've posted photos, etc. Go to the website and see for yourself. They are Jihadist sympathizers -- probably left-wing college professors (ha-ha, just kidding). Make sure to have your security programs running or downloaded.

Good News! Gov. Schwarzennegger Vetoes California School Gay Bills

Governor Schwarzenegger vetoed AB 606 and AB 1056 the final two bills in the trio of bills which would have required the indoctrination of the homosexual lifestyle in public schools. The State Superintendent of Public Instruction would have had unlimited discretion to withhold state funds from schools that did not comply with AB 1056.

According the the Capitol Resource Institute's Legislative Liaison, Meredith Turney, "The governor’s office received thousands of phone calls, e-mails, letters and faxes regarding the triple threat. Citizen activism is extremely effective."

HOT OFF THE SHOW! Chavez Cheered at College & Church After Calling the President the Devil

The topic of our radio show on Tuesday (Chavez's Meltdown at the UN) and Wednesday (Chavez Building anti-American Coalition), here is where the Venezuelan President went after his infuriating speech at the UN where he called Pres. Bush the Devil and blasted America capitalism, et al.

-He was cheered by an overflowing crowd at the left-wing Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Harlem, where he was introduced to the podium by actor Danny Glover, who has likened President Bush to a slave-owner. The Dictator told the congregation that Bush, “might kill me”; read extensively from, Noam Chomsky’s "Hegemony or Survival: America's Quest for Global Dominance." Then Chavez prayed “that the American people will elect a president we can negotiate with.” The crowd evidently liked the talk which shouted in Spanish, “Chavez, Chavez, the people are with you!”

-Chavez also visited a university (where else?) specifically Cooper Union College in Manhattan. According to Jacob Laksin writing for Frontpagemag.com, He likened the Bush administration to the Nazis, described American policies in Iraq as genocide, and demanded that President Bush be brought before an international tribunal to be tried for war crimes. And again, was greeted with enthusiastic applause by the audience of professors, students, and trade union representatives, some of whom arrived outfitted in red shirts, in tribute to Chavez’s signature fashion. This is on American soil. Folks better start 'reading the labels' on these dictators (Communist Chavez, Islamo-facist Ahmadinejad, & drug-loving Morales) that, thanks to the UN, conducted their propaganda tour here last week.

Where I've been...Recording!

I haven't had a chance to blog the last couple of days as we've had a flurry of shows we've been recording. Particularly, look for our upcoming two part series on "The New Barbarians - Training Children to Kill" with author and film producer Caryl Matrisciana. WOw! Everyone needs to see this film, if you haven't already, and hear our interview with her! Very much worth the time.

We covered so much ground on what's going on with terrorist organizations in the Middle East and here in the U.S. A native of England, Caryl also talks about the terrorist attacks and growing Muslim population in Europe. She's produced over 30 films, the first one I saw years ago was "Gods of the New Age."

NBC: Veggie Tales - Too Much God

WorldNetDaily reports that the very popular VeggieTales kids videos which are to air on NBC on Saturday mornings, but only with certain edits, ie removing the words 'God' and 'Bible.'

Originally the network said the edits were because of time limits, it now has said, according to Phil Vischer, co-creator of Veggie Tales, "They now acknowledge the cuts they requested and explain that they don't want to air programming that offends or excludes any individual religious group. This is why, one would assume, they are also rethinking the Madonna-on-a-cross..."

Vischer also said, "As a guy deeply involved with the project, I know that (original NBC) statement is false. We sent them our first episode for TV, which was already edited to EXACTLY the right length, and they rejected it because, at the end, Bob the Tomato said, 'Remember kids, God made you special and he loves you very much.' They demanded we remove that line. The show wasn't too long, it was too religious."

Don't miss today's show...a major piece of the 'puzzle' in regards to the mindset of the current (terrorist) forces that want to dominate the world. Of which Hugo Chavez seems to have no problem aligning with...

The Devil at the UN

Who would have ever thought we'd see the day when a head of state would stand before an international body like the United Nations and declare that a President of the United States was the devil, as Hugo Chavez did this week, and in the manner he did it?

For the record here's what Chavez said:
"Yesterday, the devil came here. Right here. Right here. And it smells of sulfur still today. The President of the United States, the gentleman to whom I refer as the devil, came here, talking as if he owned the world." Holding a copy of Noam Chomsky's book, "Hegemony or Survival: America's quest for Global Domination" and recommending that all Americans read it. (Are they following the communist leader's endorsement? The book's sales have spiked to Amazon's top 5 in less than a day and a half). Chavez also called President Bush a racist and imperialist.

The San Francisco Chronicle said the Venezuelan president is "Like a recurring bad dream for the Bush administration - molding himself into one of the world's most pre-eminent anti-American leaders." Chavez is traveling the world aligning himself with the likes of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who he met with during the days prior to both their addressesto the UN, and they signed more than 20 trade and investment deals, with Chavez promising to cut off oil supplies to the United States if the U.S. military attacks Iran.

The devil may have been at the UN this week, but it wasn't in the form of President Bush.

Bill Maher Bashes Bush & Christianity

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough aired an interview yesterday that he did with Bill Maher, which Noel Sheppard wrote about at Newsbusters.org..bashing Bush, Republicans and longing for Bill Clinton...

Maher said, “I think the science has decided: Yes, George Bush is an idiot.” Yet, in Maher’s view, it’s not just that “he can`t string a sentence together” or that he “looks like an idiot when he speaks.” It’s his policies: “It really doesn`t explain not getting on board with global warming, or fighting the wrong war, or sitting there for seven minutes on 9/11. All that stuff doesn`t have to do with articulation; it has to do with someone who really is in way over his head.”

Hannity and Colmes also had Maher on last night, when he talked about how ABC didn't want him on their "Free Speech" segment, that he would have talked about his usual criticism of Christianity/religion, (remember, he said Christians have a neurological disorder?) and argued that they shouldn't call the show "Free Speech" if they don't want controversy.

I am frankly amazed that they gave him the air time. He's like Al Frankin. Funny, I guess? Opinionated, absolutely. But politically newsworthy? I don't think so.

But then controversy sells.

Hugo Chavez Calls Bush the Devil

If there was any doubt in anyone's mind about the nature, mindset, political worldview, et al of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, there shouldn't be any doubt now. He showed his true colors when giving his speech before the United Nations today.

Breitbart.com reports (in part):

"Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez took his verbal battle with the United States to the floor of the U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday, calling President Bush "the devil."

"The devil came here yesterday," Chavez said, referring to Bush's address on Tuesday and making the sign of the cross. "He came here talking as if he were the owner of the world."

Standing at the podium, Chavez quipped that a day after Bush's appearance: "In this very spot it smells like sulfur still."

Chavez held up a book by American leftist writer Noam Chomsky "Hegemony or Survival: America's Quest for Global Dominance" and recommended it to everyone in the General Assembly.

The leftist leader, who has joined Iran and Cuba in opposing U.S. influence, accused Washington of "domination, exploitation and pillage of peoples of the world."

"We appeal to the people of the United States and the world to halt this threat, which is like a sword hanging over our head," he said.

Chavez drew tentative giggles at times from the audience, but also some applause when he called Bush the devil."

Aborted-alive Babies - the Realities

One of the things I love about Jill Stanek is her boldness in telling the realities surrounding abortion. Her latest article at WorldNetDaily on "Betraying aborted-alive babies?" is just one example: (in part)

"The boy was between 20-23 weeks old and aborted after a doctor noticed on ultrasound his limbs were not measuring properly. He told the mother the baby would be born with abnormal arms and legs and sword-like feet.

The procedure of choice was induced labor abortion, wherein a pill called Misoprostol (aka Cytotec) is inserted in the mother's birth canal every 4-8 hours to irritate the cervix until it opens.

The abortionist may kill the baby beforehand by injecting a heart-stopping drug into the baby's heart through the mother's abdomen. Or the abortionist may not, anticipating the baby will die during the birth process or soon after.

In this case, the baby obviously was not killed en utero and survived.

The nurse wrapped the baby in a blanket and took him to the dirty room, realizing after several minutes he was alive. She reported this to her charge nurse, who did nothing. The family was not told."

HOT OFF THE SHOW! Pope's Comments & the Reactions

A few of my comments on today's Tuesday LIVE! show on the furor surrounding the Pope's use of a quote on Islam...

What the Pope said:

Pope Benedict's critique of the Western concept of reason last week in Germany where he recounted a conversation between an “erudite” Byzantine Christian emperor and a “learned” Muslim Persian in1391, which said, “Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.” Neither endorsing nor condemning the quote, these words will be remembered long after the context has been forgotten, but the violent response seems to justify the quote.

Some of the furious reaction: (thanks to Daniel Pipes)

-In Britain, while leading a rally outside Westminster Cathedral, protesters called for the pope "to be subject to capital punishment."
-In Iraq, the Mujahideen's Army threatened to "smash the crosses in the house of the dog from Rome" and other groups made blood-curdling threats.
-In Kuwait, an important website called for violent retribution against Catholics.
-In Somalia, the religious leader Abubukar Hassan Malin urged Muslims to "hunt down" the pope and kill him "on the spot."
-In India, a leading imam called on Muslims to "respond in a manner which forces the Pope to apologise."
-A top Al-Qaeda figure announced that "the infidelity and tyranny of the Pope will only be stopped by a major attack."
-A nun working at the SOS Hospital in Somolia was killed, shot 3 times in the back!

The Vatican responded by establishing an extraordinary and unprecedented security cordon around the pope.

The Pope's apology:

The Pope apologized for the reactions to what he said...

"I am deeply sorry for the reactions in some countries to a few passages of my address at the University of Regensburg, which were considered offensive to the sensibility of Muslims," he told pilgrims. "These in fact were a quotation from a medieval text, which do not in any way express my personal thought. "I hope this serves to appease hearts and to clarify the true meaning of my address, which in its totality was and is an invitation to frank and sincere dialogue, with mutual respect."

In Italian, sono rammaricato, translates as "I am disappointed" or "I regret."

-The Egyptian opposition group, the Muslim Brotherhood, welcomed what it called the Pope's "retraction," but later warned that it did not amount to a definitive apology and would not be enough to satisfy all Muslims.

-Hamas spokesman said, "we do not view the statement attributed to the Pope as an apology,"

-In Iran, about 500 theological school students protested and hardline cleric Ahmad Khatami warned that if the Pope did not apologize, "Muslims' outcry will continue until he fully regrets his remarks. The Pope should fall on his knees in front of a senior Muslim cleric and try to understand Islam."

-Morocco announced it would recall its Ambassador to the Vatican for consultations following the "offensive remarks"


This is just a fraction of examples. Unbelievable.

Bill Clinton Says - "I Am Sick Of Karl Rove's Bullsh*t"...

Whether it's Vanity Fair, the Atlantic or the New Yorker, I rarely read them because their articles are so long, and there's only so many hours in the day, and what time I have to read needs to be for prep for the show. But a recent issue of the New Yorker had a (23-page) article on Bill Clinton who gives his take on the current issues.

Interestingly, while very critical of the Bush Administration, ie "I Am Sick Of Karl Rove's Bullsh*t", he did say that the war in Iraq "was a mistake, and I would have made it, too."

He also talked about helping with a Hillary run for the Presidency. Mike McCurry, who was one of Clinton’s press secretaries says, “Bill Clinton helps her by being one of the most gifted strategists of our time. But, just as she had to develop a story line as First Lady, he is going to have the same problem. He is delivering to us now a model of what he might have to do as First Spouse."

Imagine. Bill and Hillary in the White House again...and during the war on terror...get the picture?

Starbucks - the Un-Politically Correct Cup

I received an email from our friend, Wesley J. Smith, author, sr. fellow of the Discovery Institute and bioethics advocate extrodinaire that his "Starbuck's Cup" is out.

Starbuck's has an interesting program called, "The way I see it," in which people who are somewhat in the public eye submit pithy bits of wisdom that are then printed on the cups (usually seen beneath the hot cup holders). One of Wesley’s that was submitted which says:

"The morality of the 21st century will depend on how we respond to this simple but profound question: Does every human life have equal moral value simply and merely because it is human? Answer yes, and we have a chance of achieving universal human rights. Answer no, and it means that we are merely another animal in the forest."

Thank you, Starbucks! Not only do they make the best Soy Chai Lattes (my favorite)...but they are not boxed in by political correctness....at least on their cups!

This Weekend: Debunking 9/11 Conspiracy Theories

The truth about 9/11 is under attack. Five years later there are still those who believe and promote 9/11 conspiracy theories, such as Kevin Barrett who will teach a class on Islam at the University of Wisconsin this fall, despite the protests of over 60 state legislators. He is a hero to conspiracy theorists.

As WorldNetDaily reports: some of the conspiracy theories that began almost immediately after the attacks of 9/11 include: "4,000 Jews had supposedly been warned to stay home from the World Trade Center that day; Flight 93 had been shot down over Pennsylvania by the U.S. military; George W. Bush's delay in ending his visit with elementary school students when told of the World Trade Center attacks signaled that perhaps he had prior knowledge of the events" - that 9/11 events were an 'inside job.'

HOT OFF THE SHOW! Iranian Leaders Come to America?

Great show on Wednesday with Erick Stakelbeck, terrorism analyst with CBN. We talked about who pulls Iran's strings, and Iran's Hezbollah-loving former President Khatami being given a pass to come to America to speak...clearly a man who is in the enemy's camp...the moderates think this is diplomacy. Unbelievable!

But Gov. Romney refuses 'protection' for Khatami when he comes to Harvard which invited him to speak on Sept. 10th. For such visits the U.S. is usually responsible for providing security (which taxpayers pay for). Good for Romney.

I'm sure you know by now that Iran's current prez Ahmadinejad challenged President Bush to a live debate at the UN when he comes next week...on the 19th, the same day Pres. Bush is scheduled to addresss the UN.

It's like a three-ring circus out there! Only the clowns are our enemies, putting on a 'show' that liberals are buying tickets to...but all clear thinking folks aren't. Thank God!

HOLLYWOOD 'HIT' - Assassination of President Bush film at Toronto Film Festival

Michael Moore may be trying to influence the upcoming fall elections with his latest 'film' “The Great '04 Slacker Uprising,” which was shown at the Toronto Film Festival, but that's nothing compared to another film shown there that depicts the assasination of George W. Bush in 2007.

This has not only never been done before, but it is outrageous making a film depicting the assasination of a sitting President!

The far-left is headed for the deep end. They are losing their mind! They just can't handle Bush being in office...this is the lowest the opposition has ever gone!

The film has been offered to American television. Will they show it? Should they?

Will it make it to the big screen? Should it?

Stem Cell Study - "Ethical Smoke and Mirrors"

The Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity responded to a Massachusetts laboratory's claim that it has developed a new way to get embryonic stem cells without harming embryos. Bioethics professor C. Ben Mitchell says their study is "ethical smoke and mirrors."

HOT OFF THE SHOW! Al Qaeda Still in the Game

Al Qaeda, Osama bin Laden's terrorist organization, has not changed in its intentions against America as the latest video by Ayman al-Zawahiri shows.

Many thought the thwarted terror plot in the UK last month may have been "the next big one" that experts predicted Al Qaeda would attempt.

However, others have said that Al Qaeda's leadership has become too isolated and thus unable to influence terror attacks to any major degree. But let's not forget that Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri have been continuing to release audio and video communications, and that the same avenues of delivering their tapes can also send commands to Al Qaeda operatives.

We talked about this on the show today, including why it is absolutely essential that liberals do not take over the House and the Senate in this Fall's elections, as many are predicting can happen...appeasers will not protect us in this war on terror...against America.

New Al Qaeda Video - the REAL Intent

The latest video of Al Qaeda's number two leader Ayman al-Zawahri, along with American Muslim convert, Adam Yehiye Gadahn of California makes their intent about as clear as it can be...

"To Americans and the rest of Christendom we say, either repent (your) misguided ways and enter into the light of truth or keep your poison to yourself and suffer the consequences in this world and the next..."

Some report that this is an invitation, some say "calling Americans to convert...". This is not an invitation of call...it is a threat!

Duane and I just finished recording a show which will air on Monday, on what this really means for America, as well as the absolute importance of conservatives winning in the upcoming Fall elections to insure that the U.S. House and Senate majority do not go to the liberals. If the liberal, anti-war candidates win in November we will be more vulnerable than we ever imagined. Make no mistake about it.
