HOT OFF THE SHOW! Ahmadinejad - Is Iran a threat?

IS IRAN A THREAT?

To those who question this consider...

A day before flying to New York to speak at the UN, Columbia University, the Press Club, et al, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had a very different style (the real Ahmadinejad) speaking at a parade of Iran's fighter jets and missiles -- strong warnings to the United States to stay out of the Middle East.

Yahoo News reported: Three new domestically manufactured warplanes streaked over the capital during the parade marking the 27th anniversary of the Iraqi invasion of Iran. The parade also featured the Ghadr missile, which has a range of 1,120 miles, capable of reaching Israel.

Some of the missile trucks were painted with the slogans "Down with the U.S." and "Down with Israel." The parade also featured unmanned aerial surveillance drones, torpedoes, and tanks.

Some of what Ahmadinejad said:

"Those (countries) who assume that decaying methods such as psychological war, political propaganda and the so-called economic sanctions would work and prevent Iran's fast drive toward progress are mistaken."

"Those who prevented Iran, at the height of the war from getting even barbed wire must see now that all the equipment on display today has been built by the mighty hands and brains of experts at Iran's armed forces."

"Nations throughout the region do not need the presence of the foreigners to manage their own needs. Foreign presence is the root cause of all instability, differences and threats."

"Learn lessons from your past mistakes. Don't repeat your mistakes." (warning the United States)

Say what he will while here on his PR to the Americans trip, the facts are clear...out of his own mouth while on his own soil.

Gays Mock Jesus and the Last Supper

BEFORE THEY COVERED IT UP

COVERED UP AS OF 10 PM 9/25/07

As if Ahmadinejad's visit, welcome at Columbia University, and arrogant comments weren't enough this week...

Gays Mock Jesus and the Last Supper:

You know, just when you think you’ve seen or read it all – here in California, in San Francisco, organizers of the city’s hedonistic Folsom Street Fair (sponsored by Miller Brewing, Co) have portrayed Christ and the Last Supper with the bread and wine replaced with "Sex Toys" and his disciples as half-naked homosexual sadomasochists as the event’s promnotional advertisement.

And to top is off, California taxpayers get to pay for it!

Concerned Women for America released a statement saying: “Gay activists disingenuously call Christians ‘haters’ and ‘homophobes’ for honoring the Bible, but then lash out in this hateful manner toward the very people they accuse. In their version of The Last Supper, Christ, Who gave His life for our sins, is despicably replaced by sin itself as the object of worship. We’re calling on California’s elected officials – Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Governor Schwarzenegger and Senators Feinstein and Boxer – to publicly condemn this unprovoked attack against Christ and His followers. We further challenge the media to cover this affront to Christianity with the same vigor as recent stories about cartoon depictions of Mohammed and other items offensive to the Muslim community.”

So, taxpayers pay for it, the City of San Francisco sanctions it, several city blocks are shut down to platform it, and SF police are on the job at it for security.

Matt Barber of CWA said, "The most vile acts of debauchery are commonplace during the fair. While Senator Larry Craig was arrested and driven out of the Senate for allegedly soliciting public ‘gay’ sex, during this event the city of San Francisco suspends the law and allows ‘gay’ men and women to parade the streets fully nude, many having sex — even group orgies — in broad daylight, while taxpayer funded police officers look on and do absolutely nothing – in the name of ‘tolerance.’"

Unbelievable!

HOT OFF THE SHOW! Outrageous News!

Here's some of the topics we talked about on Tuesday's LIVE! show -- some of the most Outrageous! news so far this month:

Chico, California teacher renounces citizenship & urges parents to do same as their child's assignment.

Feds ordered: OK to Taser U.S. citizens but not illegals

Streisand's hubby wishing a 'Happy 9/11'

Jesus 'Hate Crime' at the Emmys.

Anti- e-Harmony Ads by gays

Miami Seven - Terrorists - "I want to fight some jihad."

This quote by Keith Olbermann of MSNBC:

“Al Qaeda really hurt us, but not as much as Rupert Murdoch has hurt us, particularly in the case of Fox News. Fox News is worse than Al Qaeda — worse for our society. It’s as dangerous as the Ku Klux Klan ever was.”

And this story:

President Hugo Chavez threatened on Monday to take over any private schools refusing to submit to the oversight of his socialist government, a move some Venezuelans fear will impose leftist ideology in the classroom.

All Venezuelan schools, both public and private, must submit to state inspectors enforcing the new educational system. Those that refuse will be closed and nationalized, Chavez said.

A new curriculum will be phased in during this school year, and new textbooks are being developed to help educate 'the new citizen,' added Chavez's brother and education minister Adan Chavez in their televised ceremony on the first day of classes.

HOT OFF THE SHOW! Debunking 9/11 Myths

Not only are some losing site of the reality of the terrorist attacks on American soil on 9/11, but a growing number (about 1/3) of Americans now believe some of the 9/11 conspiracy theories, so we talked about this on the show today, including some of the most extreme theories, including the top Arab conspiracy theories.

Of course, liberals began bad mouthing General Petraeus' report before he even gave it on Capitol Hill, on the eve of the sixth anniversary of 9/11. This will only get worse.

As America remembers, pays tribute and continues to 'heal' from the wounds of 9/11, truth and reality about what this war on terror is all about is 'fogged' over by politicians and the those on the Left who are more concerned about controlling and being in control.

Fred Thompson Announces his run for President

Last Nights GOP Presidential Debate - Huckabee vs. Paul

Last night's FOX News debate was the best GOP one so far in my view. Many of the candidates seemed to articulate their positions on the issues better, but perhaps none so better than in the exchange between Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee on the war.

Paul voicing his position against the war, bemoaning the GOP's recent election losses, and Huckabee stepping up to the plate and taking issue with Paul saying when we are at war, regardless of how we got there, we cannot be divided, but rather need to be "one nation under God - the United States - not the divided states" of America. That honor was more important than the Republican Party's success.

Powerful. You can see it here.

And see a video overview of the debate here.

See excerpts of the debate here.

Plus Fred Thompson's announcement here on Jay Leno show and at his website here.

Q: Have you settled on a candidate yet?

A Giant is no longer with us -- Dr. D. James Kennedy

After suffering a heart attack in December, 4 days after delivering his last sermon on Christmas eve 2006, and nine months of convalescence, Dr. D. James Kennedy died today.

A man who understood how to serve God both in the church and in the public square, Dr. Kennedy had a major impact on my life and the lives of thousands of others who came to know the Lord through his ministry, and the importance of civic responsibility as a stewardship.

He will be tremendously missed not only by his family and church family but by the thousands upon thousands of lives he touched in his decades of ministry.

A Giant is no longer with us -- but he is with the One he served so faithfully for so many years.

We were privileged to meet him several years ago, and it was an honor to have him as a guest on our show, my first year in radio. As a matter of fact we re-aired the show last month, honoring him, which you can listen to at the link below.

Christian NewsWire reports:

Public viewing and funeral services have been scheduled for Dr. D. James Kennedy, founder and senior pastor for 48 years of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church (CRPC) in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Dr. Kennedy passed away peacefully in his sleep at approximately 2:15 a.m. at his home with his wife and daughter at his bedside, following complications from a cardiac event last December. He was 76.

Service Times:

Wed, Sept. 12 -- Noon to 9:00pm EDT: Dr. Kennedy will lie in repose in the Grand Narthex at CRPC, 5555 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale.

Thur, Sept. 13 -- 1pm: A public funeral service will be held in the sanctuary at CRPC. The service will be delay-broadcast in its entirety on TBN, time to-be- determined.

Fri, Sept. 14 -- A private, family-only interment will take place.

Dr. Kennedy, who is survived by Anne, his wife of 51 years; his daughter Jennifer; and her husband Charles "Chip" Cassidy, preached his last sermon from the pulpit of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church on Christmas Eve Sunday 2006. He suffered a cardiac arrest four days later on Dec. 28, and has since been unable to return to the pulpit.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the D. James Kennedy Foundation, Inc. 980 N. Federal Hwy, Suite 440, Boca Raton, FL 33432. For updates and details on the funeral services, please visit the legacy Web site, www.DJamesKennedy.org. Information and instructions will be provided for designated parking areas, as well as shuttle transportation between those locations and CRPC.
