Hillary Clinton: "If I'm the President - We will Attack Iran"

Hillary Clinton in an interview on "Good Morning America" Tuesday, when asked what she would do if Iran attacked Israel with nuclear weapons, she said:

"I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran," Clinton said. "In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them."

"That's a terrible thing to say but those people who run Iran need to understand that because that perhaps will deter them from doing something that would be reckless, foolish and tragic," Clinton said.

A week ago, during a presidential debate she promised "massive retaliation" against any Iranian attack on Israel.

Pretty tough talk.

Can you imagine what would happen if George Bush said that?

Pelosi Invokes God for Earth Day

Susan Jones, Senior Editor for
CNSNews.com reported:

"Some critics say global warming is a form of religion for liberal environmental activists. Indeed, in her official statement on Earth Day, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi invoked both God and the Bible.

'Almost four decades ago, a group of visionary Americans energized the environmental movement, and indeed our nation, by dedicating a day to this ideal: we must preserve God's creation, our planet, for the generations to come,' Pelosi said.

'The Bible tells us in the Old Testament, 'To minister to the needs of God's creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.' On this Earth Day, and every day, let us honor the earth and our future generations with a commitment to fight climate change.'"

Pelosi has all sorts of plans including The Green the Capitol Initiative which "promotes sustainability in all aspects of our operations: from purchasing renewable energy and heating and cooling the Capitol with cleaner natural gas to composting the waste from our cafeterias." See more.

Pelosi also planted a tree in front of the Capitol to commemorate Earth Day.

**Does anyone remember how Pelosi refused to put "God" on U.S. flag certificates?

'Day of Silence' 2008 in Schools

"We shall sodomize your sons, emblems of your feeble masculinity, of your shallow dreams and vulgarities. We shall seduce them in your schools, in your dormitories, in your gymnasiums, in your locker rooms...All churches who condemn us will be closed. Our only gods are handsome young men." - Michael Swift, 'Gay Revolutionary' printed in the Congressional Record, February 15/21, 1987

We talked on the show today how that while Pennsylvanians go to the polls today to pick their choice for the Democrat nominee for President, and Earth Dayers celebrated Earth Day, under the radar of most are the final plans by gay activists this week.

Friday, April 25th is GLSEN's (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) 2008 'Day of Silence' which will be observed on thousands of junior campuses across America.

And so there's a good chance that your child or grandchild left will be exposed to this "Day of Silence," when gender-confused teens and those who support them will refuse to speak today -- including to teachers in classrooms.

Campaign for Children and Families has joined a national effort calling upon parents to boycott the government schools on April 25. "We believe it's important for school districts that allow or support "Day of Silence" on their campuses to face the negative consequences of their anti-family agenda. In California, government schools stand to lose about $100 for each day a child isn't there. But most of all, the April 25 boycott is about protecting your children from sexual anarchy on campus."

In the meantime, Barack Obama has promised to "usher" gay employment bill.

Compassion Forum Criticized

We reported on the Compassion Forum on Monday regarding Obama and Clinton's comments regarding abortion which was a major topic of the forum.

Now this on some backlash amongst religious leaders regarding the forum...

David Brody reported at his blog for CBN:

"Yesterday, I put up an email from Tony Perkins, the head of the pro-family conservative FRC Action group. He took issue with The Compassion Forum. Read his email here.

Well, the folks over at Faith and Public Life who sponsored the Forum are taking issue with Perkins email. Read part of it below. You can read the whole response here.

"Perkins claimed that he was not invited to the Forum. In fact, Perkins was invited to attend the Forum AND the VIP reception for faith leaders held beforehand. He never responded to the invitation.

Perkins called the Compassion Forum's board "radical." In fact, The Compassion Forum Board of religious leaders includes numerous conservative leaders: the president of the Southern Baptist Convention, the vice president of the National Association of Evangelicals, the president of the Palmetto Family Council, and the president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, just to name a few. Moreover, as Perkins acknowledged, The Compassion Forum was endorsed by Gov. Mike Huckabee and Sen. Rick Santorum. Perkins ignored that the Forum took place at Messiah College, an evangelical college in rural Pennsylvania, and will be broadcast on the Church Communication Network to more than 1,000 churches next Sunday.

Perkins claimed that "the bulk of last night's program was taken directly from the playbook of the Religious Left, focusing not on the issues closest to Christians' hearts but on climate change, AIDS, and global poverty." Poll after poll shows that climate change, AIDS and global poverty are moral priorities for evangelical Christians. Moreover, Perkins' claim ignored the Forum's extensive and thoughtful discussion of abortion. Both candidates were asked if they believed life begins at conception and Senator Obama was asked two additional questions related to abortion."

Read the rest on this at David's blog.

Did you see the Forum? What did you think?

I think we shouldn't let this distract from what the candidates said at the forum regarding the issues.

Cleric: We will conquer Rome, Eastern Europe and the Americas

If you didn't hear our show with fellow radio talk show host, Jeff Katz, speaking at an Eagle Forum conference we were both at on the threat of Islam at our borders, you can hear it online here.

Jihadists still want to destroy America.

JihadWatch.org has some of the best coverage on this threat, such as...

Islamic cleric: We will conquer Rome, and then Eastern Europe and the Americas:

As Jimmy Carter plans to meet with Hamas, this Hamas MP explains that it is an Islamic imperative to subjugate the world "thorough da'wa and military conquests."

As the EU President insists that there is no link between Islam and terrorism, this Islamic cleric explains that the conquests he dreams of are "Islamic," and that Muslims need to be prepared to carry out these conquests "by means of the mosques and the Koran books, and the history of our Prophets."

Has the world ever before witnessed cognitive dissonance on this grand a scale?
"Hamas MP and Cleric Yunis Al-Astal in a Friday Sermon: We Will Conquer Rome, and from There Continue to Conquer the Two Americas and Eastern Europe," from MEMRITV (thanks to Sr. Soph):

Following are excerpts from an address by Hamas MP and cleric Yunis Al-Astal, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV on April 11, 2008.

Yunis Al-Astal: "Allah has chosen you for Himself and for His religion, so that you will serve as the engine pulling this nation to the phase of succession, security, and consolidation of power, and even to conquests thorough da'wa and military conquests of the capitals of the entire world. Very soon, Allah willing, Rome will be conquered, just like Constantinople was, as was prophesized by our Prophet Muhammad. Today, Rome is the capital of the Catholics, or the Crusader capital, which has declared its hostility to Islam, and has planted the brothers of apes and pigs in Palestine in order to prevent the reawakening of Islam – this capital of theirs will be an advanced post for the Islamic conquests, which will spread through Europe in its entirety, and then will turn to the two Americas, and even Eastern Europe.

I believe that our children or our grandchildren will inherit our Jihad and our sacrifices, and Allah willing, the commanders of the conquest will come from among them. Today, we instill these good tidings in their souls, and by means of the mosques and the Koran books, and the history of our Prophets, his companions, and the great leaders, we prepare them for the mission of saving humanity from the hellfire on the brink of which they stand."

As Jeff pointed out on the show today, multi-culturalism has blinded many to see this threat for what it is.

It's time to take off the MC and PC rose-colored glasses.

Pope Applauds America's Founding Principles

CNSNews.com reported:

In his speech delivered at the White House on Wednesday, Pope Benedict XVI spoke of America's Founding Fathers and the principles that created the United States.

He drew a parallel between the views of his predecessor, the John Paul II, and those that former President George Washington...

"From the dawn of the Republic, America's quest for freedom has been guided by the conviction that the principles governing political and social life are intimately linked to a moral order based on the dominion of God the creator."

"The framers of this nation's founding documents drew upon this conviction when they proclaimed the self-evident truth that all men are created equal and endowed with inalienable rights grounded in the laws of nature and of nature's God."

"The course of American history demonstrates the difficulties, the struggles, and the great intellectual and moral resolve which were demanded to shape a society which faithfully embodied these noble principles."

"In that process, which forged the soul of the nation, religious beliefs were a constant inspiration and driving force, as for example in the struggle against slavery and in the civil rights movement."

I'm sure the Pope's address, void of anti-war rebukes the mainstream media would have loved to hear him espouse, was a disappointment to the Left.

California Approves Anti-Spanking Law

The California State Assembly committee has approved a bill that would criminalize spanking, and threaten parental authority. If it passes all committees it will become law late this summer.

The California Family Council reports:
Assembly Bill 2943 (Lieber) was approved today by the Assembly Committee on Public Safety. If approved by the Legislature and signed by the governor, the bill would make the ordinary practice of spanking a child by a parent a criminal act. This legislation, veiled as a prohibition of corporal punishment and child abuse, makes no distinction between an acceptable form of parental discipline – a spanking – and the violent act of “brandishing a deadly weapon upon a child.”

Assembly member Sally Lieber, who has publicly stated she opposes spanking of any kind, is continuing her crusade at criminalizing parents who use spanking as a form of discipline. While careful not to include the word “spanking,” AB 2943 would make no distinction between a commonly used, appropriate form of discipline – a spank – and other more violent, inappropriate acts toward children. If a person is convicted of violating this law, the children could be removed from the home and the parent could spend time in jail.

“No one is in favor of child abuse and our society must do everything in its power to prevent violence toward children,” stated Everett Rice, the legislative coordinator for California Family Council. “But the way this bill is written, a legitimate spanking can be equated with cutting a child. The accepted use of a swat with a hand could be construed as child abuse.”

Obama Compares Pro-Life Phycisian with Terrorist

Continuing the discussion on Obama and Abortion...

Susan Jones CNSNews.com Senior Editor wrote today:

"Sen. Barack Obama has compared a conservative U.S. senator with a former member of a 1960s-era radical group that bombed the Pentagon, the U.S. Capitol and other buildings.

At the Democratic debate in Philadelphia Wednesday night, Obama was forced to defend his friendship with former Weather Underground member William Ayers, who never apologized for a series of bomb attacks in the early 1970s. In fact, on September 11, 2001, The New York Times quoted Ayers as saying, "I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough."

Obama said he knows Ayers as "a guy who lives in my neighborhood" and who works as a professor at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
"And the notion that somehow, as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values doesn't make much sense," Obama said.

"The fact is that I'm also friendly with Tom Coburn, one of the most conservative Republicans in the United States Senate, who during his campaign once said that it might be appropriate to apply the death penalty to those who carried out abortions. Do I need to apologize for Mr. Coburn's statements? Because I certainly don't agree with those, either."

William Ayers, then

William Ayers, today

Erick Stakelbeck, Terrorism Analyst for CBN reports on Ayers' partner:

Barack Obama took some heat last night from both moderator George Stephanopholous and Senator Clinton for his relationship with a former member of the radical Weather Underground group, William Ayers. Much of the focus has been on a 1995 gathering Obama attended at Ayers' Chicago home in order to shore up support for his then-fledgling State Senate campaign. But Ayers wasn't the only former Weatherman in attendance at that 1995 meeting.

Bernadine Dohrn, Ayers’ longtime live-in partner, was also present. In the late 60s' and throughout the 1970s, Dohrn was well-known for statements like this:

"White youth must choose sides now. We must either fight on the side of the oppressed or be on the side of the oppressor."
See Video clip and others featuring Dohrn, Ayers and the Weather Underground in its heyday, visit Erick's latest blog here.

Sen. Coburn is a practicing physician who says he has dedicated his life to protecting the sanctity of life.

"I have had the privilege of delivering more than 4,000 babies in my career," he says on his Web site. "My experience as a physician has affirmed my conviction that all human life is sacred and that life begins at conception. I oppose abortion in all cases, with the lone and rare exception of when the life of the mother is endangered."

"I favor the death penalty for abortionists and other people who take life. My contention for the death penalty is, if you intentionally take innocent life, you ought to be open to the death penalty. Do I think abortionists should be put to death right now? No. You can't do it. (Abortion) is legal. I don't think it should be legal."

Carter Has Failed Peace

Let me count the ways. He has failed:

lst - America
By meeting with terrorist leader, Hamas' Khaled Meshaal, this week against the advice of the U.S. State Department because it violates our policy of isolating the terrorist group because of its actions and anti-West agenda.

2nd - Israel
America's strong ally and only democracy in the Middle East. Carter has sided with Israel's enemies calling "Israeli occupied territories" as a "system of apartheid." Hamas continues to refuse to recognize Israel as a state and continues to fire rockets on Israeli civilians in Gaza and other territories.

Hamas Leader Khaled Meshaal: "Before Israel dies, it must be humiliated"

The following are extracts from an address by Hamas Political Bureau head Khaled Meshaal at the Al-Marabat Mosque in Damascus on February 3 2006 (Al-Jazeera TV).

“Many of the Western countries which seek to eliminate terrorism are actually pouring oil on the fire of terrorism on a daily basis...Do they not see that democracy works against them? They spend their money in order to undermine Hamas and to defeat it.”

“We say to the West that you have been beaten in Palestine and the defeat has already begun. Israel will be vanquished, and all those who have supported and continue to support it will also be vanquished. America will be defeated in Iraq. The nation of Muhammad will triumph in Palestine and Iraq and on all Arab and Muslim soil. Tomorrow, our nation will rule the world; this is a fact. Tomorrow, we will rule the world.”

“Before Israel dies, it must be humiliated. Before they die, they will experience disgrace and humiliation. They relied upon Sharon and he has left them, and today they have defeated leaders.”

“We are not scared of their threats. They demand that we recognise Israel. Really? They do not demand that the murderer recognise the right of the victim, but expect the victim to recognise the murderer. We will tour the Arab states, and we will meet with Arab and Muslim leaders.”
Full Address

3rd - The Peace Process
Carter who is 83, served one term as president between 1977 and 1981, and from that time until now, though seeing himself as a negotiator of peace, has failed over and over again. The Middle East still wants the the destruction of Israel and the 'great satan,' America. Nobel Peace Prize or not, nothing has improved through his efforts.

Why would Meshall want to meet with Carter? As Michael Young at the Daily Star in Lebanon wrote, "For one thing, negotiating with Hamas would effectively undermine the authority and credibility of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas."

Israel's ambassador to the United States, Sallai Meridor, expressed concern saying: "The unintended consequences of such a meeting would be to embolden terrorists and undermine the cause of peace."

Q: Why is Carter so bent on legitimizing Hamas?

Alan Keyes to Announce Leaving the GOP

The former Assistant Secretary of State under President Reagan and U. S. Ambassador, Alan Keyes will announce tomorrow, April 15, 2008, his intentions of joining a third Party following indications he has broken with the GOP.

Keyes cites "the party's failure to match conservative rhetoric with actual performance in the political arena," saying he will reveal his reasons for departing from the GOP during a news conference scheduled for 8:30 pm ET, at the Best Western Genetti Inn in Hazleton, PA. The event will be video-streamed live at Keyes' website, http://www.alankeyes.com/

Keyes said he is looking to the Constitution Party as a possible home for his future efforts in politics, including a run for president in the 2008 general election.
"I believe people deserve a choice. They certainly deserve a conservative choice — something neither John McCain, Hillary Clinton nor Barack Obama can offer voters. All they can offer is empty promises based on liberal track records."

Keyes said, "No other 'third party' is as well-established as the Constitution Party. They've been around since 1992, and have built a significant grassroots presence among patriotic, Constitution-minded citizens — with a registered membership of over 350,000. Conservatives have a home in the CP that they can find nowhere else, given the decline in the Republican Party's credibility as a voice and vehicle for conservatism."

Obama, Clinton, Abortion and Faith?

On today's show we talked about...

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton participated in a forum on faith and politics in Pennsylvania on Sunday, where the next key primary is. The forum was not a debate. The two candidates were questioned separately at Messiah College near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and was broadcast nationally on CNN.

The audience included leaders from several different faiths who asked questions on abortion, euthanasia & Aids. The Compassion Forum's said goals were to "provide the opportunity for candidates to discuss how their faith and moral convictions bear on their positions on these important issues." And "to offer candidates an unprecedented opportunity to reach religious voters."

The Forum was also broadcast on the Church Communication Network (CCN) to more than 100,000 people in over 1,000 churches across the country. And the Compassion Forum Board, which includes religious leaders from across the faith and ideological spectrum including the controversial Rev. Jim Wallis, of Sojourners, the leader of the religious political left.

The two candidates were asked if they thought life began at conception.

Clinton: "I believe that the potential for life begins at conception. But for me, it is not only about the potential life, but the other lives involved." She said, "I have concluded, after great, you know, concern and searching my own mind and heart over many years that individuals must be entrusted to make this profound decision, because the alternative would be such an intrusion of government authority that it would be very difficult to sustain in our kind of open society." Clinton said she sought wisdom from God about moral questions like abortion, but said she didn't know if she had the right answers. "I don't pretend to even believe that I know the answers to a lot of these questions. I don't."

Obama: who sparked controversy recently when he said he would not want to see his daughters "burdened" (those are CNN's words - he actually said "punished") with an unwanted child -- said it was important to "acknowledge that there is a moral dimension to abortion, which I think that all too often those of us who are pro-choice have not talked about or tried to tap down." (tap down, what's that?) Obama stressed that "adoption is an option," but remained committed to supporting abortion. Obama said he did not know whether life begins with conception. "This is something that I have not, I think, come to a firm resolution on...I don't presume to know the answer to that question."

See video clip of Obama on babies as punishment.

This view on abortion held by both the democrat candidates is in direct contrast to the majority of Americans who are pro-life, and Obama tried to downplay his pro-abortion position saying, "I absolutely think we can find common ground" and "we can take some of the edge off the debate."

Pregnant Man Scores big on Oprah

The April 3rd Oprah Winfrey Show which was in collaboration with People Magazine and featured Thomas Beattie, a transgendered man who is six months’ pregnant, received the program's eighth highest rating.

Beattie was born a female but became a 'man' 10 years ago having testosterone treatments and breast-removal surgery. However, Beattie kept her reproductive organs intact.

If Beatie is married to a woman, who impregnated him? A surrogate.

Beatie told Winfrey, "I'm a person, and I have the right to have my own biological child."

Beatie told People Magazine that his wife, Nancy, had a hysterectomy.

"If Nancy could get pregnant, I wouldn't be doing this. Who hires a surrogate if they are perfectly capable of carrying their own child?"

The baby, which is suppose to be a girl, is due this summer.

This is Thomas as Tracy -- before she changed her gender. She was a Miss Teen Hawaii finalist.

Sad.
