For Pregnant Women and Children Preschool and Up...
There is a new major U.S. mental health initiative on the docket, based on a report of the New Freedom in Mental Health Commission, which recommends mental health screening for adults and children as young as preschool age in primary care health settings, schools, and correctional facilities. It also includes expanding school based mental health programs requiring specific treatments for specific conditions, including the use of specific medications. Think it won't happen? Last month Illinois bureaucrats began pushing through a plan passed into law by their legislature to screen the mental health of all pregnant women and children up to 18 years of age in their state. The plan also includes discounted psychotropic drugs. As reported in the Illinois Leader, Larry Trainor, a parent of four children and Illinois contact for the Los Angeles based Citizens Commission on Human Rights, said "Since psychiatric involvement in education, SAT scores have gone down for the past few decades. Evaluating mental conditions is not based on scientific evidence, it's subjective." If you think that the government and schools are intruding in an area that should be the responsibility of parents and the family doctor then do something.

This is the kind of thing we all need to fight against while we still can that is! I don't know if your a Christian or not but the
Bible speaks plainly about this kind of thing happening and right now it seams they are trying a " test market " for the rest of the
nation! If you extra " dirt diggers " I don't mind putting in the time
for this kind of thing ;-)!!

I think, if you look at this issue closer (also ADS), you'll find that its really meant to be part of the anti-2nd amendment issue - if a person is, for
some reason subject to treatment for ANY Mental Health issue, they can no longer legally own a firearm . . . . . ever! This is the true hidden agenda of the World Health Organization - to disarm all Americans - without resistance. Its bigger than this country alone . . . . John

In this day and age, virtually every family suffers from what could be diagnosed as some sort of neurosis. American families are robbing their children of what used to be considered "normal" childhood behavior. They are labeling active boys as "ADHD", girls who like to play with dolls as "not liberated", and home schooled kids as "not fitting into the mainstream" as adults because they've been sheltered from the real world.
I blame our educational system for about 80% of these problems, from pre-school through the university level. The real "normal" Americans are still the majority, but we are letting the educational bureaucracy dictate what the next generation will become. We must fight back school district by school district, and pray that the current president has four more years to work on his true agenda for the public schools. If he wins this election, he will have no reelection fears to stop him from implementing many of his faith-based initiatives . Although these initiatives may have built-in "red flags", they are far better than the current plan to drug and diagnose our children into oblivion!

I'm absolutely against this outrage; what a forced invasion of privacey! We used to have the RIGHT to opt into any form of "CARE". We now have a mandatory Stepford Wife mental health system! As it now reads, society can be medicated and bullied into controlled compliance through the guise of mental health "care"! But, then, it really isn't all that new a an idea or method, is it.....? After all, the psychologist and sociologists have been totally restructuring education in the public schools away from academics and into "shaping" citizens for a global society for decades. The new mental health plans are in keeping with other failed "enlightened" movements, like the idea of eugenics, communism, Nazism, the controlled society of Brazil, etc, etc, etc.
The elite have rewrapped stupidity and and want us to swallow the pill.

The Mental Health Screening initiative of the federal government, which I think is a part of the Leave No Child Behind Act (NCLB), is the nextvery bold step of expanding the role of the psychological and psychiatric
industry into our lives. Already, K-12 education influence from thisgroup is widespread and it is distracting from the traditional mission of
public education - to educate. As a matter of fact NCLB, the basis ofeducation law in every state, is predominantly a social indoctrinationprogram with a little academics thrown in and is leading US education
toward a federal curriculum ( Read "FeEd by Professor Allen Quist .) The general public needs to rise up in opposition to mental healthscreening, the sooner the better.
