As reported by the BBC, Saddam Hussein's trial is set for the second half of October. It will follow the referendum of Iraq's draft constitution which is scheduled for October 15th. If found guilty of the charges against him he could face the death penalty. A new team of lawyers have been appointed to defend him. Raghad Hussein, Saddam's daughter, told reporters that the 1500 legal team originally hired have been fired.
