Interesting note reported by AP today: Supreme Court Justice Scalia, said he thought the confirmation process was too politicized, and when asked if he thought he would be confirmed again by the Senate, he said, "I don't know. I wouldn't want to go through it today, I'll tell you that much." Scalia was confirmed by a 98-0 vote by the Senate in 1986.
