HOT OFF THE SHOW! Hanukkah & Christmas

This week we are re-airing two of our war on Christmas shows on Monday and Wednesday, but will have our CHRISTMAS SPECIAL on Friday - "Christmas During Times of War" with audio clips from the Armed Forces Archive Broadcasts, a few true stories and several of my favorite Christmas songs.

Today we re-aired my interview with Rabbi Aryeh Spero who has been active in standing up for Christmas. You can read some of his excellant articles on the subject here.

It's interesting to note that Hanukkah is celebrated on December 25th this year. Have you ever wondered why there are so many ways to spell this holiday? ie Hanukkah, Chanukah? Because there is not an exact English translation of the Hebrew word for it, is why we find the following spellings for this holiday:

Chanuka
Chanukah
Chanukkah
Channukah
Hanukah
Hannukah
Hanukkah
Hanuka
Hanukka
Hanaka
Haneka
Hanika
Khanukkah

So Happy Hanukkah to our Jewish friends and neighbors! And God bless you for standing with Christians over the attack on Christmas. We know it is because you value truth.
