This letter was just released by the family of Martin Toler, Jr. one of the 11 who died in the Sago Mine. Martin and some of the other coal miners in the Sago Mine disaster managed to write farewell notes to assure their loved ones that their "final hours trapped underground amid toxic gases were not spent in agony."
