Killing for 'Honors' Sake...
Bringing out into the light the pressure many Muslim women are under to keep silent about abuses in the home and even deaths in the name of 'honor killings' which are rampant in the Middle East.
Just one week ago, a Palestinian woman was stabbed 29 times and in front of a bank's video monitors. She was stabbed by her brother, who did it in public view because he "wanted to restore the family's honor." Her crime was that she was raising her daughter in a way he didn't approve.
In Australia police are told to handle domestic violence in Muslim homes differently - to let the clerics deal with it as it is 'part of their culture.'
