My guest today on our WOMANTalk edition of the show, Cynthia Bohnker, marriage and family therapist and author of "Overcoming Holiday Stress," had some very good additional suggestions, such as how to handle the negative effects of dysfunctional or abusive family members.

If we put into practice what Cynthia recommends holiday stress could be reduced to simply not enough sleep or fatigue from the extra activities, period.
