
Just more weird -- out of control -- 'bioethic' science!
On Monday's show Wesley J. Smith, Author and Sr. Fellow of the Discovery Institute talked about the once esoteric subject - animal rights - and how it is now common in philosophy departments from Harvard to Stanford, to suggest that killing babies and fish are no different, that apes and humans are both persons, and how this movement is not only influencing legislation, such as putting pigs in a state's constitution, but intimidating industry. This is no fringe fad, folks.
Last week OneNewsNow reported about a license to create human-pig embryos has been granted in Great Britain. An American professor says the moral and ethical implications of that decision have not been thought out.
British law requires that the human-animal embryos be killed after 14 days, but Mostert predicts some researchers will violate that statute and let them grow even further. Dr. Mark Mostert emphasizes that God created man and animals separately, intending for it to stay that way.
