More on China - Collecting Nuclear Secrets?

Not only is China moving into our southern gulf to drill for oil (where our Congress won't allow us to!), but it has been reported for some time now that China is collecting U.S. nuclear secrets. See AP article here. and more here.

As a matter of fact, the U.S. government estimated China to have had an arsenal of about 150 nuclear weapons in 1999. See the stats here.

Now, just for the record, The Peoples Liberation Army is one of the world's largest military forces, with approximately 7,000,000 members and the world's largest (active) standing army, with approximately 2.3 million members. See more here.

The NYT reported on what many are considering a surprising twist on U.S. relations with China -- their participation in getting North Korea to disable their nuclear facilities. Some think China can be instrumental in getting Iran to do the same, but...so far not happening.
