Environmentalists Endorse Sotomayor

ADVOCACY LINK -- Most of the media attention surrounding Judge Sotomayor’s confirmation hearing has been focused on her detractors. Her supporters should be duly noted, among them a group of the most radical environmentalists, anti-business extremists and anti-development advocates ever assembled. They co-signed a public letter of support for her, which you can see here: Steve Milloy, publisher of JunkScience.com and author of Green Hell: How Environmentalists Plan to Control Your Life and What You Can Do to Stop Them, says, "If anyone needs another reason to urge their senator to vote against Sonia Sotomayor, consider that she's been endorsed by more than 50 radical environmental groups, including Earthjustice, Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth. The greens praised Sotomayor for ruling against the need for environmental protection decisions to be made on the basis cost-benefit analysis -- meaning that, as far as Sotomayor is concerned, no price is too steep to pay to advance the environmental fetish. Fortunately, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned her decision last April. but what will we do if she sits on the Court?”
