Senior Hamas Leader Disowns Son Who Spied for Israel
According to HAARETZ -- A senior Hamas leader publicly disowned his son Monday, days after Haaretz revealed that the young man had secretly spied for Israel and helped authorities hunt down members of the Islamic militant group. The father said though he was sorry to take such, he had no choice after his son "disbelieved in God...and collaborated with our enemies." The intelligence Mosab Hassan Yousef supplied Israel led to the exposure of a number of terrorist cells, and to the prevention of dozens of suicide bombings and assassination attempts on Israeli figures.
