Political Wrap-Up: Obama the "Food Stamp President"

Newt Gingrich called Pres. Obama the "Food Stamp President," because more Americans are on food stamps under his presidency than any other... to which Juan Williams took issue with, saying it was a slam against poor people, in his questioning him at last night's debate in SC. A record 45 million people received food stamps last year at a cost of $75 billion. The program, formally known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, has more than doubled in cost since 2008.

What say you? Is it an appropriate moniker for the president?
