Judgements on Ariel Sharon's Condition

So much has already been said about Ariel Sharon's condition, speculating his replacement, what this means for Israel, and controversial statements such as Pat Roberson's, that I don't want to be redundant. MSNBC has covered the latest on Sharon's prognosis, some of his history on video and more here.

But there is one thing I'd like to say: though I was/am not happy at all with Sharon's position on the Gaza pull-out and willingness to divide up the land of Israel, and I likewise agree that God, in the Bible, does talk about His will for the land of Israel, having made a covenant with Abraham, the father of Judeo-Christian faith, giving him 'all the land,' it does no good, in my thinking, to be quick to judge the reasons for Sharon's condition. Unless God speaks specifically regarding a situation, our response should be one of charity. Our words should be guided by wisdom (knowing what to do with knowledge). The world needs to see more than just opinion, no matter how educated it may be.

What say you?
