The Bush administration is giving Israel space to 'disarm' Hezbollah, and thus far has received a minimum of criticism from the liberal media for doing so. I think they're scratching their head trying to 'predict' when Condoleezza Rice will go to Israel for talks on the situation. Such a diplomatic trip would necessarily encourage a quick resolve.
