REAL ISSUES:
Passivity Does Not = Safety
As the war in Israel, and anti-Israel, anti- America protests escalate in the Middle East, pressure also increases to get out of Iraq, to 'get out of this whole mess!' But stability in responses and not reactions is what is needed in times like these. We must be led by wisdom and truth and not by fear. And certainly, not by passivity!
Remember, there were those in America who did not want to get involved in what Hitler was doing in Europe. Had we followed that reasoning, well just think what the world would be like today.
It is a time to hold steady in our emotions, a time to be vigilant as a nation, and a time for all of us to pray!
