Do They Teach About This in School?

Say it again...

Whether the subject is civil rights, sex ed, or the Middle East, how many schools teach the following today? Very few, sad to say.

Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. joined me on the show last week on the 35th anniversary of Roe v. Wade to talk about how her uncle's dream is now her's. She was in the San Francisco Bay Area marching for life and we caught up with her in-between marches.

She's the Founder of the King for America, Inc., continuing the legacy of civil rights advocacy, including for the unborn. Both Martin Luther King and her father, Rev. A. D. King were slain civil rights leaders.

Of particular concern is the disproportionate number of abortions in the Black communities of America. (See blackgenocide.org) which is in keeping with the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger's racist agenda:

“Colored people are like human weeds and are to be exterminated.” –Margaret Sanger, founder, Planned Parenthood

Another outrageous quote is from David Duke:

"Our clear goal must be the advancement of the white race and separation of the white and black races. This goal must include freeing of the American media and government from subservient Jewish interests."

Did you know that Israel is the only country, outside of the Unites States that marks Martin Luther King Day annually, with a special session in parliament. Israel embraces the legacy of Dr. King because it exemplifies hope and peaceful co-existence between people of diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his wife, Coretta Scott King, were friends to Israel and the Jewish people, and active in the battle against anti-Semitism.

Can anyone show me documentation where these important points in history are in currently used U.S. textbooks? If anyone can, I'll take back this article.

Hear the show online now (See 1/16/08)
