LIFESITENEWS.COM -- President Barack Obama issued a proclamation on Monday declaring June 2009 to be ‘Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month.’ “Due in no small part to the determination and dedication of the LGBT rights movement,” he says in the proclamation, “more LGBT Americans are living their lives openly today than ever before.” The president goes on, however, to say that he believes that American society still has far to go in opening itself up to the agenda of the homosexualist movement. “The LGBT rights movement has achieved great progress,” he says, “but there is more work to be done. LGBT youth should feel safe to learn without the fear of harassment, and LGBT families and seniors should be allowed to live their lives with dignity and respect.”
I will be on WSHO with Robert Cole out of New Orleans at 2:15 pm Pacific to talk about this.
