Hot Off the Show: The Left During Times of War

When a country is at war - what do you call those citizens who want the enemy to win? Who works to cause sympathy for the enemy in his own country? Who blames his own country for the actions of the enemy? (ie America's fault we were attacked on 9/11)et al. My guest on the show today, David Horowitz, says: Traitor! A Traitor is someone who betrays his country by committing treason. Wikipedia describes Treason as "the crime of disloyalty to one's nation. A person who betrays the nation of their citizenship and/or reneges on an oath of loyalty and in some way willfully cooperates with an enemy, is considered to be a traitor." Now, it is not normal to stand against your own country. You have to be educated/programmed to do so. (My guest on Wednesday, Steve Beren, will talk about such programming.) Real loyalty, just like in a real marriage, is committed with its eyes wide open. In other words, sees the good and bad, and remains loyal, focusing on the good, and working to change the what needs changing. If you missed today's interview with David Horowitz you can listen online. (See below).
