TIANANMEN SQUARE - 1989
Remember this photograph of one man standing in front of a row of tanks in Tiananmen Square (take a good look) that caught the world's attention? His act of peaceful resistance made all the headlines after he slipped back into the crowd. What started as a small protest grew to over one million people, when the Chinese government decided to bring in the tanks killing hundreds of people, including students and children. That was when this anonymous man took his courageous stand. This picture begs the question: How much of a (peaceful) stand am I willing to take for the cause of liberty?
