Iraq's national security adviser, Muwaffaq Rubaie, announced that Saddam Hussein's trial will be shown on live TV. This is fantastic news! Hopefully as the world tunes in it will realize why he had to be taken out of power. According to Rubaie, Iraq wants to show the Arab and Muslim world "that this is going to be a fair, just trial with a defence counsel...a proper prosecuting counsel..." No date has been set for the trial yet.
